Stan VanderWerf announces bid for El Paso County Commissioner, District 3

Today, Stan VanderWerf (R-Colorado Springs), a Veteran and local entrepreneur, announced his candidacy for El Paso County Commissioner.

"Today, I am announcing my candidacy to run for El Paso County Commissioner, District 3. I have the experience, principles, and passion to help our Community be the best in the nation."

"After serving for 27 years in the Air Force, I could have chosen anywhere to live, but I picked HERE because we have a great community and environment! With your help and my leadership skills, earned in the military and refined as a local entrepreneur, we can make our community even better! I would be honored to be your next County Commissioner!" said Stan.

Stan has extensive experience running large organizations and budgets, and creating and managing fair, balanced, and effective programs and policies. He believes in smaller government, fiscal restraint, and the power of the free market.

Stan will work hard to ensure the County provides vital public services such as citizen safety and disaster preparedness. He believes in collaborating with both public and private sector efforts to grow our local economy and bring wealth and jobs to our community.
